The first day was abit of a 'mare, tried to go to bed early but kept waking up every hour to check the time so I didn't miss my coach, then finally 4:50am came around and I shot out of bed and got ready, leaving my house at 5:30am to catch the 6am coach. Managed to sleep for about an hour and a half on the coach but not very well as it was very full and someone sat next to me (pet hate, my bag was in the seat and everything) got to London victoria at 9:05am, had to find my way to the underground and get on the Victoria line to green park, managed successfully! SO easy when you know how. Although when I got to green park I got lost, went the wrong way twice but finally ended up at Albermarle street, 15 minutes late and extremely red in the face!
As you can see I attempted to take some outfit pics at 5am but didn't quite work haha but this is what I wore on my first day: Black skinny Primark jeans, dusty pink H&M blouse, oversized black knitted jumper H&M, Topshop white studded pumps, cross necklace New Look, black leather jacket H&M, red tartan scarf H&M and black Primark bag.
The tasks I was set on my first day were:
- Book flights to Paris for the merchandiser meeting
- Book flights to Dublin for the merchandiser meeting
- Address payslips and post them
- Take a look at sales figures
The tasks I was set on my second day were:
- Visit Bond street boutique and get fitted at Myla
- Research competitive brands of Myla
- Go to Selfridges and compare competitors website focus to instore selling focus
- Write a report and present it in a presentation
- Analyse sales figures

Mayfair crimbo lights still up
On the first day one of my tasks was to book return flights to Paris for the merchandisers meetings and was given the company credit card to do it!
On the second day, one of my tasks was to visit the Bond street boutique and get fitted for a bra and get to know the staff, they were really lovely and on my way I saw many a expensive lady! Head to toe Prada and amazing fur coats were everywhere! Bond street is obviously the best place to be! I was in awe of all the designer shops, Gucci, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen etc etc
My second task of the day was to become a 'mystery shopper' which I enjoyed the most! I was sent to Selfridges to write a report on Myla's competitors such as Agent Provocateur, La Perla and Victoria's Secret. My boss was extremely pleased with the presentation I produced that showed my findings on the competitors website focus, instore selling focus and general new stock findings!

So that's all I have to say about my internship so far, didn't manage to take a picture of my outfit on the second day because I was too rushed! But hopefully I'll take some more in the future. Looking forward to going back next week and seeing what's in store for me then!

Aw, glad you're enjoying it hun. Interning is so hard, but worth it. I worked while I did an iternship and travelled, so i had like a 90hr week. Worth it in the end though, cos I landed my dream job.
