Feeling a little under the weather at the moment, think I've got a throat infection, dosed up on aspirin and taking a well deserved rest! In other news, yesterday I helped out my housemate as a model for a test shoot for her FMP based on a makeup theme 'dystopia' you can see her inspiration and mood boards via her pinterest.
This look was created using Illamasqua cosmetics and the application was done by fellow student make up artist Rhianwen Clement.
I thoroughly enjoyed being pampered, toned and cleansed! I was really inspired by my housemates skills in make up artistry, if I wasn't in my third year of fashion journalism I would love to re-train as a make up artist! So many techniques you wouldn't know about that make every difference!
I love the geometric shapes in this look too, it really shaped my usually chubby cheek face! It was only a test shoot so wasn't completely finished, but the idea is still there for you to see. What do you think?

Wow this looks like such a fun experience. Something totally different. It's not like you're gonna apply make up like this to yourself every day so that must have been fun! I'm rubbish at applying make up so some of those techniques would so come in handy for me. I hope you feel better soon too, I've got a chest infection which won't seem to budge either. :(
