Christmas may be over now, but winter certainly isn't. The frosty mornings are back with a vengeance and it's getting harder to get out of bed in the mornings. Apart from the arctic temperatures, I'm struggling to decide what to wear when I wake up, and usually just throw on as many garments as possible to keep me warm!

But there is a way to keep warm and look stylish this winter, for example the fur coat will never leave our wardrobes in the winter, it has kept us warm and glam for decades. Faux fur of course, is easy to obtain on the high street for an affordable price in the form of a stylish gillet, Topshop offer a taupe faux fur gillet for £65 which won't break the bank and will last for years. No sleeves also mean you can layer up underneath for extra outfit combo's!

Teamed with a floral dress or feather print playsuit like this one from Motel for £52, means it can be worn with thick tights in the winter and bare legs on a night out/in the summer, the vintage print adds a vibrance to the cold winters but keeps in tone with the dark winter colours and can be worn several ways. The exposed back during the day can be covered underneath with a black camisole for extra warmth!

Coloured tights were massive last year but with this outfit I think it is best to go safe with a classic opaque black pair. ASOS do great long lasting 300 denier pair for £12.

On a night out this outfit teamed with some black suede ankle strap wedges like these ones from New Look priced at £24.99 would work perfectly, but for everyday use the black suede slipper has made it to my wish-list, coming in a range of different styles and colours the slipper can be found in TopshopUrban Outfitters and also ASOS.
Headwear has made a big comeback this year with the turban trend in particular, the knitted turban keeps your head and ears warm and your hair intact, with a gather detail on the front it creates a lovely shape. But if you aren't a fan of the knitted turban there is a variety of fur headbands about that work the same and still look great and glam at an affordable £10 each from ASOS
To top off this look every girl needs a designer handbag, this stunning quilted hand bag from Bag So Beautiful is great for everyday use and has taken inspiration from a famous Gucci design, the fashionable buckle features on the straps as well as a unique metal handle, not only will you look luxurious but you will feel it on your arm and it is also very generous in size!
