I'm starting to feel that spring breeze drift through my window as I write this post, which has made me smile, knowing that my favourite season is on its way! Something else that has made me smile recently is Versace's spring/summer 2012 collection! If you haven't seen it yet you can see it here! We would all love to own something from the Italian fashion designer Versace's collection, who recently collaborated with my favourite high street retailer H&M; but thanks to my student budget I've decided to recreate the look by using cheaper high street alternatives to stay bang on trend this summer.
Versace has got vintage inspired chiffon whites and tailored pastels in this collection, with a "cute, but glam" jewelling effect, a signature style for Versace. Missing are those big, exotic, colourful prints that we've seen in the Versace for H&M collection, although pastel shades are a trend that have already reached the high street, in popular stores such as Zara and Topshop, so recreating this look for spring should be manageable and affordable! Statements such as the "hourglass shape" is a must have style and the smart-to-casual-to-glam garments, such as the perfect skirts and blazer adornments, will be easy to impersonate on the high street.

same! I work there but still couldn't get hold of any of the stuff! sold out online so quickly and we didnt have it in our store :( did get a Versace print carrier bag from my friend at the Birmingham store though! :) following you babe! x
