Re:So is a small pop-up shop space in Southampton Marlands Centre, run by students at Solent University. A wide range of fashion students from the university have created a shop that's tagline is 'enter a world where punk collides with decaying elegance through the power of art, fashion and music' and I was proud to be a part of the wonderful workshop they put on showcasing the south's obvious talent.

The 'shabby chic apartment' look of the interior room really entices the public in, it's cute little hidden entrance is not to go unnoticed, so if you are ever in Southampton I suggest you go and check it out! Located on the second floor opposite Costa, don't miss it!
It's filled with rails of handmade and vintage clothes, accessories and trinkets made by students. They held their very first fashion blogging event with the wonderful Brent Meheux who teaches at the Solent University and is a part time blogging enthusiast. There was a brilliant table full of biscuits, cakes and sweets that really made the evening! It was a very fun and informative afternoon for myself as a fashion journalism student and have got lots of plans to improve my blogging thanks to his great tips and tricks of the trade.
There was a very good turn out of keen students and fashion blogging enthusiasts from all range of backgrounds, for example fashion journalism, fashion promotion, make-up and hair design.
The visual layout of the room was very quirky, being a visual merchandising enthusiast myself I was happy to see some artistic thought had gone into the displays. Above is a ladder that is being used as a shelf. I just had to take a pic of this amazing mannequin, check out those shorts! If I wasn't so skint I would snap those badboys up right away! fringing is the perfect embellishment to shorts!
I loved the lighting set up in the corner here, simple yet unique although I didn't stay around long as I couldn't keep my eyes off of the tote bags (you can never have enough tote) and this super cool skull design ornament. Great isn't it!
The setting had a sort of vintage 'urban outfitters' interior feel which I loved, and this mannequin display looked great, interesting way of selling earrings and the tinsel looks great too! CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
