Ironically, whilst exploring the Monki website for the first time (properly) I found myself making noises of a 'monkey' repetitive ohhs and ahhhs. So I decided to make a wishlist, as I'd first been inspired by LLYMRS post here featuring the gorgeous metallic bonnie skirt and decided to check it out for myself!

Being the notorious bargain hunter that I am, I headed straight for the sale section and was pleasantly surprised by the prices! First I found the gorgeous Cindy Top  in silvery crushed velvet with it's very-wide-rather-low-rather-lower-in-the-back neckline for only £8! I think this would go perfect with a high waisted black skater skirt for a new years or xmas day outfit as the velvet somehow reflects festiveness to me!
Then I saw this Pearl Tee which screamed LLYMLRS to me, it's definitely her loose oversized but quirky style, it's also print perfection and wild in it's price of £5!
I then fell in love with something pricey, only £18 but for a first time shop at Monki I didn't wanna pay too much before I knew the style/quality first, but this Althea dress was definitely in my basket, it's asymmetric shoulders and sleek button placket won me over, not to mention the slinky silky fabric and huntsman green colour. This looks perfect to wear night and day.
I find it hard, being of the busty variety, to find a bra that looks supportive and pretty, two combos not usually put together! I've yet to try this Selma bra but I've put it on my wish-list anyway, as I love the silky-smooth fabric topped with frothy line of contrast lace in pale lingonberry cream, it's simple, stylish and I'm sure looks oh-so-sweet on. It's priced at £5 in the sale as well!
The Ella Skirt is a good dupe to the metallic skirt seen in LLYMLRS post, in the sale at £12 it's a good £8 saving and I prefer it if I'm honest! The cute cookie baked from the best of two worlds: soft knit fabric, proper preppy pleats, and a scattering of silver sweetness for the frosting on top.
Finally I set my eyes on the Lilli tee, it's veronica ultra colour and loose fit makes it the perfect basic to wear on lazy sundays or casual fridays, with a silky shine and bring-it-on colour adds drama to the relaxed shape and is another steal at £5.

The shoes and hat were courtesy of polyvores humungous catalogue that caught my eye at a glimpse and aren't in the sale, but you can find them on the site still

"There where times when walking around your head uncovered was as unthinkable as rock n’ roll on the radio. Ah. There’s just something so deliciously pointless about little hats…" -. Monki hat

"Black velvet and darkest aubergine shimmer points the way to a fabulous fall, and beyond - imagine tiptoeing through new-fallen snow in these!" - Shelia shoe

What do you think of my Monki wishlist? Is there anything I've missed?
