This is just preliminary, but I bought these animal print trousers from H&M today, they had caught my eye for a while now and I originally planned to wear a floral print trouser to LFW but I'm kind of bored of florals now so I thought I'd try a cooler tone, all I've been hearing the past few months is monochrome this, monochrome that and I hated it at first, but when I tried these trousers on (I've always been a fan of leopard print, whatever shade, I used to live in it back in the hayday) they actually felt and looked amazing! A steal at £9.99, I always thought prints made me look bigger than I am but this print flattens my bum! and as much as I admire Kim K's behind, I'm not gonna emulate it into my fashion any day soon.
I thought about it, but then decided I didn't wanna splash out on anything too expensive and new for just ONE show on ONE day in fashion week, so a lot of what is on here is stuff I have already have. The boots, the clutch (which is actually silver studded) the nail polish and the leather jacket are all mine already. The black mesh hole jumper is a copy, I plan to get a H&M version that I couldn't find online but I know is in store, it's on ladieswear and is around £24.99 but it's so amazingly 90's (think over the top male pop band attire, I'm sure backstreet boys wore it once) I don't think I can resist buying it, seeing as the 90s has a big influence on upcoming trends too it would be a good investment as a light throwover during the cool summer nights! The Kardashian studs are similar to the earrings I wear day in day out, although mine are just silver but are the same shape. The necklace is H&M too, it's a really interesting piece, sort of magnetic like and it's £7.99 in store which to me is a bit pricey, but with staff discount it should bring it down abit. All that's left is the makeup, I doubt I'll do anything different to my everyday makeup, maybe fake tan the night before, bit of bright lippy and some eyeliner flicks. The look is pretty boring for LFW I know, but I'm not really a 'stand out person' so I've gone for more of a toned down, classy look? and I've always lived by the motto "if in doubt, wear black".
I'm really uninspired by fashion at the moment, I don't know if its my mood swing or the fact I'm terribly poor, but hopefully bringing my DSLR to this event and snapping some street style will cheer me up and give me some stylespiration!
P.S I've finished my internship with Myla London now, I will add a post about my time soon. Got something else very exciting lined up but I'm keeping quiet until I know for sure, but wish me luck anyway!
