Like most mums, mine loves The Body Shop.
I'm always abit overwhelmed by the store in my local shopping centre, so much to see and the lighting doesn't create a good atmosphere for me whilst browsing, really puts me off! not to mention being ignored by the staff on more than three occasions. So I always do my shopping online via the body shop website. I bought her a few things last christmas and had no quarms, apart from the fact the free gift message was addressed to someone called 'Joanne'... I forgave them as it was the festive period and I'm sure they were incredibly busy.
But I got given a list from mama to spend for mothers day this year, not the usual cocoa or sheer butter but instead a collection of Hemp stuff, this isn't exact as the Hemp collection online actually came with a re-usable hemp tin and cost just £16 for all 4 things. I too love the smell of the mango body butter and this was the last 'flavour' she hadn't tried so I'm looking forward to stealing some of that when I'm home! Also the grapeseed glossing serum looks like it could do good things and priced at £7 for a small bottle I should think so too! The nail file isn't a block like that one but has two files and one has a shiny side, I'm rubbish when it comes to beauty stuff so do excuse my terminology! I used a discount code to get 40% off and free delivery, making all this come to just £21.20 a good £12.80 discount!
So I look forward to testing them out with her this weekend, what have you got your mums this Mothers Day?
Is there anything you beauty bloggers would suggest for a new starter like me? I'd quite like to get into all this smelly stuff!
